Day Wise Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar + Sightseeing Tour of Srinagar

Upon your arrival in the enchanting city of Srinagar, you will be greeted by our representative at the airport who will assist you in transferring to your luxurious hotel. After you check in, prepare yourself for an exquisite day of local exploration in Srinagar. You will have the opportunity to visit the renowned Mughal Gardens, as well as the revered Shankaracharya Temple and the Hazaratbal Shrine. All these splendid gardens are gracefully positioned along the banks of the picturesque Dal Lake, with the majestic Zabarwan Mountains serving as a stunning backdrop. The distance from Srinagar to these magnificent gardens is approximately 12 to 15 kilometers. On your way, you will also have the chance to visit a traditional carpet-weaving factory and the historic old city of Srinagar.

Day 2: Day Excursion to Doodhpathri

Following a delightful breakfast at your hotel in Srinagar, embark on a scenic drive to Doodhpathri, often referred to as the Valley of Milk. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, meandering through charming villages and lush green fields. Upon your arrival, immerse yourself in the expansive green meadows and breathe in the crisp mountain air. You may choose to take a leisurely stroll along the river or indulge in a pony ride, should you desire (Optional at Extra). In the evening, you will return to Srinagar.

Day 3: Journey from Srinagar to Gulmarg + Exploration of Gulmarg

Following a delightful breakfast this morning, embark on your journey to Gulmarg, located 52 kilometers away. Upon your arrival in Gulmarg, check into your hotel and revel in the breathtaking panoramic vistas that surround you. Please note that the vehicle will only transport you to the hotel and cannot be utilized for further sightseeing due to local union regulations in Gulmarg. For any additional exploration, you will need to hire a horse, pony, or ATV bike, with payments made directly for these services. You may indulge in pony rides to the Maharani Temple and St. Mary’s Church, at your own expense. A Gondola ride, which is highly recommended, will take you to Kongdori (Phase 1) and Apharwat Peak (Phase 2), reaching one of the highest altitudes in Asia.

Day 4: Journey from Gulmarg to the Houseboat in Srinagar

Following a delightful breakfast, check out from your hotel in Gulmarg and embark on your journey to Srinagar. Upon arrival at the houseboat, complete your check-in. Later, indulge in a one-hour Shikara ride on the serene lake adjacent to your houseboat (available at an additional cost). This enchanting boat ride will take you through picturesque vegetable gardens and vibrant aquatic life. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay aboard the houseboat.

  • Sightseeing options such as Pony Rides in Pahalgam, the Gulmarg Gondola Ride, visits to Aru and Chandanwari, and the Sonamarg trip to Thajiwas Glacier and Sonmarg Zero Point are available at an extra charge and are not included in the standard package.
  • Entrance fees for all gardens range from Rs 20 to Rs 70 per person per garden, to be paid directly by the guest upon their visit.
  • A Shikara ride can accommodate a maximum of four passengers per boat.
  • The Shankara Acharya temple is open from 07:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
  • Most temples prohibit cameras and mobile phones, so it is advisable not to bring them during temple visits.
  • A maximum of three adults are permitted in one room, and the third occupant will be provided with a mattress or rollaway bed.
  • Transportation will be arranged according to the itinerary provided.
  • The itinerary is set and cannot be altered; any modifications after confirmation may incur additional costs, which will be the responsibility of the customer.
  • Vehicle operational hours are from 08:30 AM to 07:30 PM.
  • Changes to the itinerary are contingent upon the availability of tours, weather conditions, and operational feasibility.
  • If a tour is missed due to closures or maintenance, every effort will be made to accommodate the sightseeing, time permitting.
  • For operational reasons, the tour routing may be adjusted; however, all listed services will remain intact.
  • In hilly regions, even if you choose an AC vehicle, air conditioning will not function to prevent damage or breakdowns, ensuring your convenience.
  • Additionally, in many hilly areas, commercial vehicles are prohibited from playing music to avert accidents.
  • Should there be roadblocks, the vehicle may need to take an alternative route to reach your destination, which may incur extra charges payable on-site.
  • Due to heavy snowfall during winter (from December 1st to March 15th, dates may vary based on weather), guests must hire a vehicle with chains (maximum capacity of 5 to 7 passengers) from Tangmarg to Gulmarg (12 Kms), with charges ranging from Rs 1800 to Rs 2500 per vehicle, payable directly by the guest.
  • The cable car ride (Gondola) incurs a fee for children aged 2 years and older. Seats are allocated by local authorities based on the car’s seating capacity, and we cannot guarantee that all seats will be assigned in a single car.
  • No vehicles are permitted for sightseeing in Gulmarg; guests must hire a pony sledge or snow bike, subject to weather conditions, on a direct payment basis.
  • For guests embarking on a day excursion to Gulmarg, our cab will conveniently drop them off at the designated parking area for tourist vehicles. From there, the Gondola is a mere 1.5 km away, accessible either by pony (at the customer’s expense) or on foot.
  • Each houseboat generally accommodates 2-3 rooms, with multiple guests sharing the same vessel, enhancing the communal experience.
  • The names of the houseboats may vary, as they are managed by the same operating group, ensuring a consistent level of service.
  • Please note that the quality of food may not align with high culinary standards, akin to our advisories for Dubai.
  • The houseboats are categorized as Deluxe, and the images provided serve merely as a general reference for your expectations.
  • Be prepared for the possibility of occasional electricity shortages whileaboard the houseboat, as this can occur.
  • Upon check-in at your hotel, you may be required to provide an advance or security deposit, the amount of which is determined by the hotel’s policy. This deposit will be refunded at check-out, less any charges for items taken from the mini-bar or other fees (such as late check-out or damages).
  • Tickets for attractions, museums, trains, cable cars, ferries, rides, safaris, and similar activities are not included unless explicitly stated as part of the package.
