Day 2: Srinagar Sightseeing + Transfer from Srinagar to Pahalgam
Following a delightful breakfast, check out from your hotel and embark on a captivating local sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Explore the renowned Mughal Gardens, and pay a visit to the illustrious Shankaracharya Temple and the revered Hazaratbal Shrine. Each of these exquisite gardens is nestled along the shores of Dal Lake, framed by the majestic Zabarwan Mountains in the distance. The journey from Srinagar to the gardens spans approximately 12 to 15 kilometers. Along the way, take the opportunity to visit a traditional carpet-weaving factory and the historic old city of Srinagar.

Day 3: Pahalgam Full Day Sightseeing Tour
Following a delightful breakfast this morning, you are free to immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of this picturesque valley town. You may choose to hire a local taxi (on a direct payment basis) to embark on various optional excursions within and around the Pahalgam valley, including a visit to Chandanwari (3288 metres above sea level), Aru Valley, and Betab Valley. After your explorations, return to the hotel for your overnight accommodation. Located 16 kilometers from Pahalgam, Chandanwari is renowned for its snow sledging on a snow bridge. Taxi cabs are available for hire from Pahalgam for a round trip.

Day 4: Journey from Pahalgam to Gulmarg
Following a delightful breakfast in the morning, you will check out from your hotel and embark on your journey to Gulmarg. Along the way, you will have the pleasure of witnessing the charming town of Tangmarg, and continue your scenic drive for 14 kilometers to reach Gulmarg. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of your day at your leisure. An overnight stay awaits you in Gulmarg.

Day 5: Gulmarg Sightseeing + Transfer from Gulmarg to Sonamarg
Following a delightful breakfast, check out from your hotel and embark on a sightseeing adventure that includes the illustrious Maharani Temple, the serene St. Mary’s Church, and an exhilarating Gondola ride (cable car). Please note that Gulmarg Sightseeing will be conducted on foot or via pony, as vehicles are prohibited from entering the sightseeing areas and must remain parked at the hotel.
The Maharani Temple, constructed in 1915 by Mohini Bai Sisodia, the spouse of Maharaja Hari Singh, the final Dogra monarch of Jammu and Kashmir, is a site of great reverence. This temple features shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. It is also noteworthy as the filming location for the classic movie Aap ki Kasam, starring Rajesh Khanna and Mumtaz.

Day 6: Sonamarg Sightseeing + Transfer from Sonamarg to Srinagar Houseboat

A visit to the Thajwas Glacier, located just 3 kilometers from the town, awaits you, accessible by either a leisurely walk or an exhilarating pony ride, where snow graces the landscape year-round. Thajiwas Glacier stands as one of the most thrilling treks originating from Sonmarg. This trek meanders through verdant greenery and past a serene frozen lake. Ascending from the glaciers, a pathway leads to the majestic Shakhdar Hill. Here, tourists are treated to breathtaking vistas of the glacier and its picturesque surroundings. Even in the summer months, visitors can indulge in a delightful sledge ride in the vicinity. During peak season, sledges are readily available for hire from the local Gujars.

- Entrance fees for all gardens range from Rs 20 to Rs 70 per person per garden, to be paid directly by the guest upon their visit.
- A Shikara ride can accommodate a maximum of four passengers per boat.
- The Shankara Acharya temple is open from 07:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
- Most temples prohibit cameras and mobile phones, so it is advisable not to bring them during temple visits.
- A maximum of three adults are permitted in one room, and the third occupant will be provided with a mattress or rollaway bed.

- Should there be roadblocks, the vehicle may need to take an alternative route to reach your destination, which may incur extra charges payable on-site.
- Due to heavy snowfall during winter (from December 1st to March 15th, dates may vary based on weather), guests must hire a vehicle with chains (maximum capacity of 5 to 7 passengers) from Tangmarg to Gulmarg (12 Kms), with charges ranging from Rs 1800 to Rs 2500 per vehicle, payable directly by the guest.
- The cable car ride (Gondola) incurs a fee for children aged 2 years and older. Seats are allocated by local authorities based on the car’s seating capacity, and we cannot guarantee that all seats will be assigned in a single car.
- No vehicles are permitted for sightseeing in Gulmarg; guests must hire a pony sledge or snow bike, subject to weather conditions, on a direct payment basis.
- For guests embarking on a day excursion to Gulmarg, our cab will conveniently drop them off at the designated parking area for tourist vehicles. From there, the Gondola is a mere 1.5 km away, accessible either by pony (at the customer’s expense) or on foot.
- Each houseboat generally accommodates 2-3 rooms, with multiple guests sharing the same vessel, enhancing the communal experience.
- The names of the houseboats may vary, as they are managed by the same operating group, ensuring a consistent level of service.
- Please note that the quality of food may not align with high culinary standards, akin to our advisories for Dubai.
- The houseboats are categorized as Deluxe, and the images provided serve merely as a general reference for your expectations.
- Be prepared for the possibility of occasional electricity shortages whileaboard the houseboat, as this can occur.
- Upon check-in at your hotel, you may be required to provide an advance or security deposit, the amount of which is determined by the hotel’s policy. This deposit will be refunded at check-out, less any charges for items taken from the mini-bar or other fees (such as late check-out or damages).
